wasting time 01:52
a dimly lit room with a dusty floor her eyes are something that he cant seem to ignore and its hard for her to understand cause she doesn't know that its his birthday she's taken him for granted one too many times but she doesn't know all of the things you both do in your head the long summer nights you'd lay in bed and just talk all the road trips in the car just singing along to the same old songs in the dark for 16 years well maybe it's time to quit because by the time you're gone she'll forget it
2.
her 02:49
16 years of my life wasting away without a warning light a signal or a sign but then you came along a beacon of self-assessment for my wrongs a reason to move on and i just wanna be with you every single day but you know how your life gets in the way your long blond hair flowing behind you in the wind without a care i can only hope to watch and stare at your big brown - hazel eyes my my my how the time does fly when you are by my side and i just wanna be with you every single day but you know how your life gets in the way
3.
do-over 02:55
this minnesota weather is cold as i wait here all alone i forgot to bring a coat as i wait for AAA to take me home it seems that my luck has finally caught up with me and i can't seen to catch a break even with my family because my car broke down in the jimmy john's parking lot can i go again?
4.
anger and balance composure and grace you standing next to me was not a mistake but being so lonely that surely is when i'm all alone and i'm crying in bed baby you know that you're killing me when you say things that surely aren't true lying about yourself is surely not the way because we both know this was bound to fail even if you don't see it yet
5.
diane 03:47
diane why'd you have to go an archetype of loneliness or so it goes was it the way you scrunched up your nose diane diane the time that we had together it goes to show count your blessings and there they go when i was a young man i thought that things would be different but you proved me wrong and how was i to know you were living in the moment if you couldn't tell me so whoa please don't go i've got a plethora of reasons to keep you from leaving home whoa i don't wanna be alone but if that's what you have to do then go diane why'd you have to go an archetype of loneliness or so it goes was it the way you loved me so diane diane the time that we had together it goes to show count your lovers and there they go
6.
i've never been a fan of lying never have never will how do you expect me to look at you the same way again why should i care about you not like you even thought of me i know what you did don't treat me like i'm stupid how do you expect me to look at you the same way again why should i care about you not like you even thought of me why should i care about you not like you even thought of me

about

another year down.

wow.

again, this album is my experience through my sophomore year of high school. mostly songs about girls and dogs and sandwiches and just being your own person. i think if there's one thing that i learned this year (not to quote pinegrove but), it's that you should tell your parents when you're thinking of them and tell your friends when you love them.

i want to extend special thank you's to the hilliker family, sam butterfass, nick hamilton, isaac jahns, rysenberg, charlie burket, kris tremain, mitchell nelson, elle pollock, and anyone else who allowed me to play with them or was gracious enough to offer up their home / place of work / venue for me to play at. you are the reason i want to do this. you are the reason why our local scene is beginning to take shape. you are the reason behind the sucess all of us have.

to anyone who decides to purchase (or download for free) this record - listen to it - preferably on a rainy cold day or driving alone at night. loud. share it with someone you love. learn from it. laugh at it. enjoy it as much as i enjoyed creating it.

from the bottom of my heart

thank you.
